The parent, who is asked to help the child in choosing a major in college, is not doing the child a favor. A lot of thought, effort, and money are spent on the huge college decision, and yet the student is destined for failure before starting school. Medical professionals particularly the surgeons with an average annual salary of $219,770 are receiving the highest pay in the U.S. The list also includes anaesthesiologists, orthodontists, obstetricians, internists, and physicians.
